Why The Wholeness Project
Neurodevelopment is shaped not only by biology, but by environment, safety, stability, and meaningful connection. When individuals lack secure shelter or supportive surroundings, healing and growth become significantly more difficult.
The Wholeness Project was created to address these foundational needs by providing spaces that promote dignity, routine, connection to nature, and community support — elements that are essential for regulation, recovery, and long-term outcomes.
What We Do
Restorative Housing
We support the development of safe, stable living environments designed to promote calm, routine, and dignity during times of transition.
Urban Gardens & Horticulture Therapy
Through hands-on garden spaces and horticulture-based activities, participants engage in grounding, purpose-driven work that supports regulation, responsibility, and connection to living systems.
Community-Based Support
The program is supported by volunteers, donors, and partners who contribute time, skills, and resources to create environments that foster healing and belonging.
How You Can Support This Program
The Wholeness Project is made possible through the generosity of community members and partners. Support may include volunteering time or skills, donating materials or equipment, or making a financial contribution.
Every form of support helps create environments where individuals can stabilize, heal, and grow.
Every decision we make is shaped by a clear sense of purpose.
The Wholeness Project is a program of The U.S. Institute for Neurodevelopment, a nonprofit organization supporting applied, community-based neurodevelopment programs.
